The updated software, called PPL App V4.2, has been developed specifically to counter some of the problems that users experienced with the previous App V4 system. The release date is set for early 2009.
Please note that once the new software is available, the current system (CatCo App V4/App V4.1) will no longer be available. Record companies are able to keep the current system to use as reference for their own catalogue, but amending or registering new material will need to be done using PPL App V4.2. All our members will be notified when a release date is confirmed and will be provided with full instructions on how to proceed with the new software.
