Where the money goes

Because PPL is effectively owned by its performer and record company members, the company does not operate to make profits, but rather endeavours to maximise revenues for its members, while keeping admin costs as low as possible.

PPL’s regular Revenue Distribution procedure aims to return as much money as possible to those who invest their time, money and talent in the creation of sound recordings.

For 2007, PPL distributed more than £99.5 million among its 38,000 registered performers and 3,400 record company members.
