PPL Repertoire Database

The PPL Repertoire Database (formerly known as CatCo) is the all-important system for record companies to register the details of their sound recordings.

The PPL Repertoire Database currently stores details for 4.3 million recordings. In addition to playing a vital role in PPL’s distribution process, the system provides information to BPI (to protect against piracy) and the Official UK Charts Company (enabling digital sales to be included in the UK Charts). The system can also provide information to MCPS if required.
