PPL Repertoire Database

The PPL Repertoire Database (formerly known as CatCo) is the all-important system for record companies to register the details of their sound recordings.

The PPL Repertoire Database currently stores details for millions of recordings, with around 6,500 new recordings being added every week. In addition to playing a vital role in PPL’s distribution process, the system provides information to IFPI (to assist with anti-piracy activity) and the Official Charts Company (enabling digital sales to be included in the UK Charts). The system can also provide information to PRS for Music (MCPS) if required.
